How to Remove Rust From Bolts and Screws!

Are you stuck in rusted bolts and screws and have tried all your strength to open it up but failed in every attempt? Don't worry, this is a very common story and almost everyone has been across such a situation at some point of time in his or her life.

Especially if those bolts and screws are left open in moisture for long, they will grow rust very soon. And once they get rusted it is often very tough to unscrew if not impossible. For example screws and bolts in car parts, boats or even lawn mowers often get rusted as they are almost always open to moisture. And the biggest problem is, it is tough to keep them away from moisture. The problem becomes more intense once rust gets into the threads or when rust eats up the metal head of the screw making it difficult to grip with a screwdriver.

Sometimes you can just throw away those rusted screws and blots but in many cases you need to restore the existing one as it is impossible to find a replacement for a lot of screws in local hardware stores. In these situations it becomes crucial that you can clean up those screws and bolts properly so that you can reuse them after cleaning.

People try different things in similar situation to remove rust and open those screws and other metal bodies. Some of them are effective and some of them do not have any proven record. Here are some common ways that people use to effectively remove rust:

The most common solution is using penetrating oil bought from local hardware store. All you need to do in this situation is to pore a few drops of penetration oil on the screw, keep things as it is for a few moments and than use screwdriver to open it. If necessary you may even need to use a narrow chisel and a hammer to move the rusted screw inside. If the condition is too poor, you may even need to leave those screws in penetration oil overnight - it should loosen up by the morning. Though this is a heavily used process to remove rust, it is not very effective.

Some people prefer using hydrogen peroxide on rusted screws and bolts. They pour some hydrogen peroxide on the screws and bolts and leave them as it is. After a while you would need to use a hard brush and clean the rust from the screw. You may also need to use some oil after cleaning the rust on it so that the screw comes out easily. It is always better to avoid Hydrogen peroxide as it often leaves some residual elements on the spot.

Another common and effective solution is using rust cleaner. You would easily find a lot of good quality rust removers in some local stores or you can even order them online. Good quality rust cleaners do not require scrubbing and brushing - all you need to do is to dip the rusted metal into the cleaner. However, it is always recommended to buy some organic rust cleaners so that you can use in for other things too.

If you want to do that in harder way, try using some fine grade sand paper and sand out all rust from the screws and bolts. However, do not forget to use some lubricant before reusing them.

There are lots of other ways people employ to remove rust from metal items. All you need to do is to find out the best solution to your problem. Whatever process you select, make sure that it is effective to remove rust from metal items of any kind so that you can use it in different ways.

How To Install Locksets And Dead Bolts Like A Pro

There are age long secrets to successfully doing it yourself. One of the secrets is knowing the right tool for the job. Another secret is knowing how to do it. All of a sudden, you find yourself tackling projects you use to pay someone else to do. For instance, for installing lockset and dead bolt, you will need the following: masking tape; a hammer; tape measure; flat- head screwdriver; a 1- inch spade bit; pilot drill bits for all screws; a power drill; and a 2 1/8- inch hole screw.

After you have gotten the right tools, it is time to start work. Plan to spend about one hour to complete the installation. Follow this step- by- step guide and you will know how to install locksets and dead bolts like a pro.

Step 1. Position The Template: Most doorknobs are 34 to 38 inches high, with dead bolts 6 to 12 inches above that. Decide for yourself what height is preferable. When drilling new holes, tape the producer's template in place with the lockset centerline at the desired height. Determine the backset - the distance from the door edge to the centerline - and use the corresponding template marks. The backset can be 2 3/8 or 2 3/4 inches; many locksets accommodate both. Then drill 1/8- inch pilot hole through the door edge, use the template to drill a 2- inch- deep pilot holes through the door to center of the 2 1/8- inch hole saw. At the door edge, use the template to drill a 2- inch deep hole for the strike or bolt.

Step 2. Drill The Door Face And Mark The Jamb: Using drill with a bubble level or a torpedo level taped on top, drill halfway through the door from each side with the hole saw to prevent blowout sintering. Then mark the doorjamb for the strike plate by closing the door, inserting a nail from inside of the 2 1/8 inch hole through the strike pilot hole and pushing it into the jamb.

Step 3. Drill The Jamb And Door Edge: With the nail mark as an indicator, drill a 5/8- inch- deep hole for the strike or a 1- inch spade bit. In the door edge, use the pilot hole to guide a 1- inch spade and drill through to the large hole where the cylinder will sit.

Step 4. Chisel The Jamb And Door Edge: Hold the latchet assembly up to the door edge and score its outline deeply with utility knife. Do the same for the strike plate on the doorjamb. then score the wood to be removed at 1/4- inch intervals with a chisel, removing enough wood so the strike box sits flush with the door edge and the strike plate sits flush with the doorjamb.

Sue Bolt - Tile Artist

It's already clear that adding tile is a great way to update and brighten any surface-but what about taking it one step further? What could be more unique than one-of-a-kind, hand-painted tiles featuring any number of beautiful scenes? Sue Bolt has got that market cornered, as she creates celestial and fantastical tiles for any purpose.

She is a graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Art, where she had a double major in painting and sculpture. She has run her own studio, Bolt Studio, in Charlevoix, Michigan since 1974. Her work has been featured in a number of galleries and museums in and around her Michigan home. She also taught art classes for 21 years at schools in the Detroit area, including Wayne State University and Oak Park High School. Her husband Russ is also a tile artist, and he and his wife collaborate on a number of different projects. He too is a graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Art, and he has a degree in Ceramics.

Among her favorite subjects are women and children. She collaborates with her husband to do enormous installations in homes, kitchens and bathrooms featuring both of their art. Russ paints historical scenes of sailing and fishermen on tile, images that would work well in any bathroom. Together, they have installed original works of art on backsplashes, bathroom walls, fireplace surrounds and murals in various parts of the home. Trust us, this is one great way to get a bathroom or kitchen design that really will not be duplicated!

It was Russ who designed and painted one of their most popular series of tiles, the month tiles. His light and cheerful designs depict each month as having its own personality. He has completely redesigned the months twice, all in blue and white. These tiles would be wonderful in any kitchen, particularly in a home with blue and white accents. They are completely one-of-a-kind and made to order, like all of the Bolt's artwork.

While they sell all of their artwork online and in their studio, the Bolts are also willing do make custom, commissioned work for any home. This would be fabulous in a redesigned kitchen! Just explain to them what you are looking for on their online form and they will get back to you with what is possible and how they would implement the plan. Before you know it, you will be the envy of all of your neighbors.

The whimsical and cheerful addition of these colorful and beautiful tiles would be a great accent for any kitchen, whether or not you decide to have an installment made. It may be advisable to hire a professional tile installer for these tiles, as they do not come in lots of hundreds! Before you make any decisions, it is advisable to tell the Bolts about your plans-they are very accommodating and will definitely have some advice on what will work best for your vision!

Athletics Shocker - Tyson Gay Beats Usain Bolt

Tyson Gay of the USA has recorded his first ever 100m win over World and triple Olympic Champion, Jamican Usain Bolt, in a Diamond League event at Stockholm.

In the sprint event held on Friday, Gay recorded a modest 9.84 seconds with Bolt trailing behind at 9.97. After reasonable starts by the two runners, Gay was ahead by a metre at the 20m mark, and stayed ahead for the rest of the race.

Bolt, recovering from a calf injury sustained in May, was clearly not in peak form or shape, in a race that saw a couple of false starts.

This was only the second professional defeat suffered by Bolt, who holds the 100m world record of 9.58 secs that he set in Augut, 2009, in Berlin.

But Tyson Gay admitted that Usain Bolt was not in peak fitness. Bolt recorded a faster time of 9.82, earlier this year, in Lausanne, Switzerland.

The 1912 Olympic Stadium in Stockholm saw a sell-out crowd in anticipation of the showdown between the two fastest men, ever.

Bolt played down his defeat with modesty saying that he was not unbeatable.

The crowd was denied a rare spectacle of three 100m powerhouses on the same track, when Asafa Powell missed out on the race, after he pulled out of the event, on Wednesday, owing to a back injury.

At the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, Bolt became the first man after Carl Lewis in 1984 to win both the 100m and 200m sprint events.

How to Stop Your Mastiff From Running Away or Bolting Out the Door

"It is not good at all for your mastiff puppy or dog to try to run away every chance they can, or bolt out the door whenever you open it! This could be one of the worst things for your puppy or dog, as they could get lost or hurt, and you don't want that! The reason they like to run away, is many different reasons, and if you can curb some of the reasons, it will make it much better for you and your puppy or dog."

"Dogs are usually rewarded when they break out and run away, and explore. They can find other dogs they can run with sometimes, or a cat they can chase down the street, or up a tree. They might see a child that they never saw before, and wants to pet them. They might find a mate dog out their, and they want to go to them."

"They could tip over the neighbors trash cans, and find interesting things to rummage thru, and just all sorts of reasons a dog gets rewarded when they break out, or bolt out the door, and take off on you, but still so dangerous!"

"What ever the reason your mastiff is trying to break out, if you can contain some of the ways and reasons, it will make it much easier for you. For example, if the fence is loose in a certain spot, and he or she gets out their, by all means fix it!"

"If the dog can see the mail delivery person coming each day, maybe you could put some tarps up so your dog can not see out, or even moving the mail box to a different location, so you dog does not see it anymore, and take away the temptation that gets them wound up in the first place."

"You want to make it less inviting for your puppy or dog to break out, than to stay around and stay home. If you take away some of the obstacles, and make it harder for them to break out, that is good. You also want to make their desire to leave and runaway less too."

"Some dogs just have a natural instinct to want to get away, and be with the pack, be it dogs or humans. It's a natural instinct, and you can curb it, but you can't take it out of your dog."

"You can learn a few home trick remedies, but nothing would be as good as you and your dog attending dog obedience classes together! You would learn much more in detail, and your dog would respect you, and wait for your guidance; it would want to please you, rather than bolting out the door on you."

"Some little tricks you can do yourself, would be to be by the door, and you open the door, when your dog comes, if he or she stops at the door, and does not go out, you give them praise and a treat."

"If he or she bolts from the door, you get them back, and then you do it again. This time, you let the door almost come closed, but you keep it open just a little bit. When the dog sits or stays, and the door is still partly open, you give them a treat and praise again. Repeat this until you have the dog sitting in front of the door, and he or she does not go out, and you give them praise and a treat, until you could rely on praise only."

"The only time the dog should want to go thru the open door, is when you go first, and tell the dog to "Come" and he or she will follow you. If you never go out the door or call them, they should stay inside, unless called."

"Any dog that breaks out of his or her yard, or bolts from an open door, can be a tragic situation for the dog, especially if there are passing cars nearby. You want to take care of this problem immediately, before your puppy or dog gets hurt."

The Stanley Bolt

In preparation for the coming spring and the outdoor activities bound to come my way, I recently bought a Bolt type Stanley Thermos. I am an avid coffee drinker an have heard stories about its exceptional temperature control capabilities and extreme durability. I was interested primarily in its ability to keep coffee hot all day long, but the stories about Stanley thermoses surviving falls from great heights or being run over by a car were interesting as well, and played a large part in convincing me to fork over some cash for the brand.

The Stanley Bolt is a modern redesign of Stanley thermos' classic line of tough, durable vacuum bottles. With a new look that comes off looking more industrial and sleek, the Bolt also improves the design with an octagonal shape that prevents itself from rolling, unlike the previous circular design which is liable to fall off places by accident.

The Bolt also comes with a tight, 8 oz insulated lid that can be used as a cup, and a rugged stainless steel handle that looks stylish and kind of makes this Stanley thermos look like a futuristic machine. The bolt, like all Stanley thermos comes with a lifetime warranty that seems kind of unnecessary seeing as to how indestructible they are.

Ever since I bought the bolt, I find myself growing more and more attached to the gorgeous Stanley thermos. It lost a lot of prestige with the redesign, due to the lack of "classic" feel with its newer, more sleek design, but its new shape offers more functionality and frankly, it actually looks better than the old one.

The Bolt has not lost the Stanley thermos famous efficient temperature managing capabilities. I was able to use it in keeping my coffee hot for a whole day, and the rest that I didn't get to drink remained hot when I got home. A lot of people forget to mention that this is a subtle way of saving money and time, since you have gotten rid of the time and money it costs to fix a new batch after the previous one has gone cold. It effectively lessens waste when it comes to coffee consumption.

So far I've only been able to use my Stanley thermos at the park and at the office, since the place I work for has a centralized canteen and it's located at a different floor, so using the elevator to go that far just to fix or reheat a cup of coffee is tedious and time-consuming (and kind of silly once you consider the fact that it only takes four minutes to drink what essentially took me a good ten minutes and some extra legwork to make), I guess the real test for the Bolt is when I finally take it to the rugged outdoors for a hiking trip. I'm not about to intentionally drop it off a cliff or violently bash it against a rock, but if my trusty Stanley Bolt snags itself on a branch or accidentally manages to get itself caught under a big rock, I won't have to worry about breaking it. I guess that's an added feature that comes with every single Stanley thermos: Peace of Mind.

Usain Bolt is Back to Undecided About Beijing Double Bill

Here we are, one week after Usain Bolt shattered Asafa Powell's 100m record and the world wide snowball of excitement seems to be picking up more and more speed. Article after article about Usain Bolt's new World Record, his plans for the 2008 Beijing Olympics, and his past glories as a youth and junior champion a surfacing on the net. People are getting very excited about a potential 100m Olympic finals showdown between Bolt, Powell, and American Tyson Gay in Beijing.

Just yesterday though, Bolt went back to gray on his public announcement to double up in Beijing. Initially, Bolt said he was still focused on the 200m and was undecided on a double bill, but mid-week he declared it a certainty. The news from yesterday shows that Bolt is now back to undecided and is going to trust whatever his coach Glenn Mills advises. When asked if he would be OK with whatever Mills decides, Bolt responded, "Well, yeah. This is my fourth year with my coach and he's made nothing but good decisions."

Olympics aside, Bolt is most likely going to run the 100m again at the Aviva London Grand Prix in England on July 15th. If Coach and Agent negotiations go though, this race will give a preview of the Bolt, Powell, Gay final that so many people hope to see again in August.

Bolt has confirmed that he will for sure run a 200m in Ostrava, Czech Republic on June 12th, as well as a double bill at the Jamaican Olympic trials later this month.

Is all of this indecision the result of a cautious coach and a runner who want to focus on a life-long dream of 200m Olympic gold? Or is it all part of a PR plan to get everyone talking about Bolt, Jamaica, and Beijing Olympics Athletics? Regardless of the answer, I am pumped up and REALLY looking forward to the outcome of the June 12th Ostrava race.

Restoring Your Car Bodywork After a Crash - Nuts and Bolts and Collision Repair

Torque spec comes into play after a fastener has been chosen. Bolt torquing is very important. When you thread and tighten a bolt the melt stretches a little, but the metal doesn't want to be stretched so it resists the stretches and this is where you get the holding power from. This is why when you over tighten it can't hold the load because it can't return to its normal shape. Further to this in time the bolt continues to stretch and will end up snapping.

Torque-to-Yield Bolts

A torque to yield fastener is a one-time use that is based on this torque principal we just talked about. The torque spec usually have a 25% safety feature giving you a 25 per cent over tightening leniency. The torque to yield bolts don't have this safety buffer. They are not meant to stretch the metal. This may sound like a disadvantage but it's not really. They are extremely strong as they afford the whole 100% of their strength whereas the basic bolt only gives you about 75%.The one disadvantage they do have though is they can only be used once. So if you remove them you have to replace them with a TTY (torque to yield) bold. You are going to end up with 25% less strength with the basic fastener.

The TTY are used in many cases so it's important for the technician to be aware of this during the estimation process of the procedure.

Tightening Sequence

A tightening sequence can also be specified in conjunction with torque specs. A crises cross pattern is use to install wheels and now some installation patterns are being suggested for body panel fasteners. There is a certain amount of expanding and contracting during temperature fluctuations with composite panels. This means the fasteners have to adjust to these changes and must be designed to allow for this.

Shop Tips

Whenever possible replace the fastener with the same type as the one your remove. Check the manual however to ensure it is the correct part and you are doing the proper procedure. Every part is specific because there is a reason for it.

Keeping track of what you are removing is important and time saving so tossing them in a pile is not the answer. Just use some small plastic bags, put them in and then mark what they are on the outside of the bag.

If you do not have a manual, you can ask a dealership to show you their service manual.

Use all the parts that come with your replacement parts.

If you are not sure about the label, compare height, thread pitch and diameter to the new piece and this will help you choose the right replacement fastener.

Make sure to use coated materials to prevent corrosion. A classic example of making this mistake is using a non-coated steel boat with an aluminum panel. If the coated items you require are not available then use a plastic or fiber gasket, a washer or even a layer of paint to produce a barrier between the materials.

Importance of Dead Bolt Locks

One of the important type of home security lock is Door locks. They go farther to protect your home than a simple ordinary type of lock would. If you plan to upgrade your locks, it will greatly enhance the security of your home. Most door locks can be opened by taking the pressure off the spring, but to open a dead-bolt a burglar would have to tear the whole lock out and it takes time and more work.

Let me tell about the mechanism of dead bolt, It t is a home security door lock that has a piece of steel, called a throw, which protrudes from the lock, goes through the door, and embeds itself at least an inch into the doorjamb. When you have a deadbolt you need to cycle the cylinder before the throw will withdraw from the doorjamb so that you'll be able to open the door. Because of these qualities, deadbolts are much harder to pick and make forced entry extremely difficult.

There are several types of dead-bolts used with a front door lock. It can have a vertical design that better protects the door from being forced open. Also, there are two cylinder dead-bolts. With these styles, two keys have to be locked at the same time. The best protection is the double lock.

Even if you live in a safe neighborhood, you should still install a deadbolt lock. The low cost of the lock will give you a sense of security and is well worth the small prices. A good lock can stop thieves from breaking into your home. Consider installing them, even if you think you don't need them. It is a small effort to protect your home.

If you don't already have a dead-bolt on your door, installing one can be labor-intensive. Drilling holes in the jamb as well as the door are required to ensure that the lock fits properly. Usually, this type of lock is placed above the doorknob. A different kind is installed only on the interior side of the door that is used when the resident is inside the home. No matter what type of lock you install, you will save money and be better protected with a home security door lock.

Locks, Bolts and Keys For Your Home

Most security experts agree that a single outer door lock will not provide adequate protection. For example, any tumbler-type lock with an opening for a key also provides an opening large enough for the lock to be picked. Thus, a combination of two different types of locks are recommended. Here are the most common types of locks used in the home:

Spring Latch Locks: A popular and convenient lock that snaps closed whenever the beveled latch seats into a striker plate is the spring-latch lock. However, this lock can be easily forced by inserting through the door frame a thin blade or stiff plastic between the latch and the strike plate. Thus, a spring lock should always be augmented by a second lock of a different type.

Dead Bolt Locks: The dead bolt lock features a solid, rectangular latch that forms a bolt between the door frame and the door itself. This lock is difficult to force or jimmy and is a good choice as an auxiliary to any other key lock. It's available for either key operation or manual interior knob.

Barrel-Type Bolt: A barrel-type bolt serves the same function as the dead-bolt lock but is restricted to manual, interior operation only. It may be used with an inxpensive night-latch, and it is difficult to force if it's well made and installed properly.

Chain Locks: Used as a supplementary interior lock, the welded chain offers a valuable security feature. It permits the user to open a door partially to exchange letters, messages, or small parcels without completely unlocking the door. For proper mounting, the slide should be installed just above and slanting toward the chain.

Remember, if you have taken possession of a new home or apartment, you should immediately change the pin-tumbler locks on all exterior doors. A registered locksmith can usually alter the previous combination.

Removing Nova Rear Springs - Why Will the Bolt Not Come Loose and How to Fix It

You may be restoring a 1968 - 1972 Chevrolet Nova or just replacing some worn out springs and noticed that where the front spring attaches to your vehicle is not coming loose. For some reason this part does not come off as easy as a Nova hood or fender and there is a good reason for this.

The way a Chevy Nova front spring attaches is that it is bolted to a bracket that must be removed first before removing the spring. The problem comes into pay when the bolts that hold the bracket on just spin and spin. Most likely from corrosion especially in northern states, but I ran into this even on a southern car here in Florida. The bolt does not bolt into a nut or threaded part of the frame. The bolt that holds those brackets on bolts into a clip; and that is what is spinning on you.

You do not want to cut your Chevy Nova's floor board or anything like that. What you actually have to do is cut the bolt head off to free the bracket. You will probably have to do this to all three bolts that holds on each of the two brackets. After that the bracket will be free and you will be able to remove your Nova's rear spring.

If you need more information check the internet, because it seems like a lot of people have had similar issues. I was able to find several pictures and people describing so do not worry your not alone.

Setting Anchor Bolts

Being a steel erector each day can have its pros and cons. For the most part, each erector experiences many of the same issues over and over again. One of those issues is setting the low anchor bolts correctly. Here is some information about setting low anchor bolts the correct and incorrect way.

There are many steel erectors each day constructing very similar structures. Those structures usually have problems that occur with many other projects the steel erector is working on. One of the problems that continually occurs is setting the anchor bolts.

These bolts can sometimes be tricky to deal with. Many times these bolts are set with their tops lower than the elevation they are supposed to be set at. Or the top of the bolt can extend the base plate and not allow full thread for the nut. This can certainly make it difficult, but as you gain more experience you will become better at dealing with these types of bolts.

When the anchor bolt is set low, many steel erectors call that, "short anchor bolts." The best way of resolving it is by making the bolt longer. Now, you might ask, "how do I make it longer?" Well, the best way of extending the bolt is to thread couplers and weld extensions to the bolt.

Remember that anytime you are doing a correction you do need to consult with the structural designer. Consulting with the designer will help you make sure everything is done according to the designer's special procedures so it is advised that you do consult the structural engineer.

Usain Bolt to Seek Double Beijing Olympic Gold

Until last weekend, the majority of talk about the Men's Beijing Olympics 100m run focused on the impending showdown between American Tyson Gay and Jamaican Asafa Powell. Thanks to last weekend's heart pumping, eye opening, world record setting surprise jaunt by Powell's teammate Usain Bolt, the tides have shifted in a different direction. Now the focus is on Usain, and just how good he is. The Internet has been teeming today with more news recounting Bolt's record breaking 100m dash on Saturday night. Americans Tyson Gay (9.85) and Darvis 'Doc' Patton (10.07) took second and Third place respectively. The 9.72 second run shattered Asafa Powell's previous record of 9.74 seconds. (Set last year in Rieti, Italy)

The stage was the Reebok Grand Prix meet at the Icahn Stadium in New York, USA. The night began with thunderstorms that eventually broke to make way for some human lightening on the track. The heat began shaky with a false start. Bolt later recounted that he was pleased for the false start because he didn't feel that it was a good one for him. The 21-year-old's 6'5 190lb frame is hard to get situated in and out of the blocks. Bolt also noted that he and Tyson Gay are not the best starters, so a strong explosion out of the blocks and focus on the second stage of the race were essential to victory. And victory was achieved. Gay surely anticipated a stunning performance from Bolt, having witnessed Bolt's Mar 3rd 9.76 second 100m run in Kingston. (Before Saturday, this was the second fastest time in history)

While many in the world are left stunned by Bolt's explosion onto the world stage, he has in fact been priming for Athletics greatness for years. At 15, he was the men's 200m world junior champion with a Gold time of 20.61 seconds. In 2003 he took the world youth championship with a 200m time of 20.40 seconds, a significant improvement. At 16 he clocked a 400m time of 45.35 seconds, becoming the first Jamaican schoolboy to run below 46 seconds. At 18 he ran a 19.93 second 200m in Barbados, becoming the first junior to break 20 seconds. Just last year at 21 he was awarded two IAFF Rising Star awards, broke Donald Quarrie's 36-year-old 200m record with a time of 19.75, and took Silver in the World Championship 200m behind Tyson Gay. He has also shown strong promise with 400 and 4x400 meter performances.

As these achievements indicate, Bolt has always considered himself a 200m runner. He only recently began running the 100m as a means of boosting his speed. (A challenge by coach, friend, and mentor Glen Mills) Obviously, the training worked. New York's World Record was only Bolt's 5th professional 100m. While he was initially skeptical about doubling up in Beijing, he has now publicly admitted that he will seek Gold in both the 100m and 200m this summer. He has always dreamed of winning the 200m in the Olympics, like his role model Michael Johnson, the 100m will hopefully be icing on the cake.

For now, Bolt is focused on his upcoming 200m on June 12th in Ostrava, Czech Republic. This will be his last race before the Jamaican National Olympic Trials at the end of June. These trials should offer a thrilling match up between Usain Bolt and his teammate and friend Asafa Powell.

Getting Down To The Nuts And Bolts Of Creative Living

When you envisage the creative life as a free spirited existence, full of imaginative productivity and inspiration, it's a pretty seductive proposition. But it's a little more complex than that.

The reason is that there are many more ingredients that you need to add to the mix before your creative life can come to productive fruition. The freedom of the creative life goes hand in hand with the commitment to a creative practice. This is the creativity paradox. Ask any successful artist, writer or musician about their success and they will tell you their tale of long practice hours, hard work, strength of will and dedication. They'll tell you, too, about how they're always learning, always striving to improve, seeking and trying out new techniques and fine tuning the old ones. They'll confirm to you what Thomas Edison so famously proclaimed in the early 1900's: "None of my inventions came by accident... I make trial after trial until it comes. What it boils down to is one per cent inspiration and ninety-nine per cent perspiration."

Just because the nuts and bolts of a creative practice involve hard work and commitment, it doesn't mean that the process can't be enjoyable. In fact what better work to dedicate yourself to than that which is fired by your creative imagination? You're far more likely to succeed in an endeavor that excites your interests and aptitudes than in one which leaves you cold. And the true beauty of the creative process is that the work you undertake can transport you into the freedom of the flow experience. Those times when you're utterly absorbed in your activity and completely unaware of the time passing or of your surroundings, those are the times when you're in flow. A sublime state. Do you already know which nut and bolt activities allow you to access flow?

In his book 'The Art Of Creative Living', Thomas Kinkade, the well known and commercially successful American painter writes about what he calls basket-weaving, describing this process as 'the plodding exercise of hard-won skills through diligent effort.' He explains that the process of creating a high quality basket involves both creative plans for the design and well practised weaving skills. These alone are not enough, though, because to bring the basket to fruition, you also have to 'engage in the repetitive, sometimes tedious act of weaving the final product.' He points out that if you don't undertake the weaving phase, your initial ideas and skills are meaningless.

Do you have a notion of which nuts and bolts your particular art demands of you, and which will support your desire for a creatively productive life? Cashew or pistachio? And do you know which practices come easiest to you and which you need to work at next? Does your overall creative aim keep you motivated to roll your sleeves up and get right in amongst those nuts and bolts?

Your greatest leaps in progress are most likely to come through working on your detail. If you keep your gaze steadfastly on the big picture without focusing in on those nuts and bolts, the big picture is unlikely to progress far. But by getting down to the nitty gritty, it will develop piece by wonderful piece. As will you.

Self Defense at Your Residence - Install Dead-Bolt Locks on All Doors For Home Self Defense

Installing dead-bolt locks on all the doors of your residence is an additional line of home safety and self defense. It used to be that locks were only on door handles and people only locked the doors when they went to bed. Many did not even lock the doors if they left the residence for a short period of time. Children did not carry keys and could get in the house after walking home from school (by themselves!) Times have changed.

Now most people keep their doors and windows locked at all times. Dead-bolt locks have become the number one way of locking doors. Installing two or three dead-bolts per door is not uncommon. Although it is not impossible to kick a door open, like in the old movies, it is much more difficult with dead-bolts. The reason is, the dead-bolt, when engaged moves a one inch or longer solid piece of metal bar into the door frame. Trying to kick in a door now requires breaking a large portion of the door frame.

There are different types of dead-bolt locks. Some are keyed and some are just locked from the inside. You can purchase a kit of two or more locking doorknobs and dead-bolts which use the same key. That way you can replace the existing doorknobs an all doors with new door locks and dead-bolts and have fewer keys to carry.

If you want a little more peace of mind and a first line of self defense for your residence install a number of dead-bolts on your doors. You never know when you may need some extra protection. And if you live in a windy area additional dead-bolts can keep the wind from blowing the doors open.

Endure Or Bolt?

Have you ever waited for something you really wanted and, in the middle of the wait, you decided it was taking too long and you bolted? Maybe you've gone through a hardship and decided to leave because you felt you didn't need to deal with it. I know of several times in my life I've done just that. Waiting is a hard thing to do, especially when you don't see any results of your waiting. Waiting requires endurance. Endurance shows our character. How do we respond in hardships? What is the first thing you do when you are tried or tested? Do you whine and complain about the situation you are in? Is the first thing in your heart anger towards God for letting the trial come?

Take a ring, or a small item like a pebble, and place it in one of your hands. Curve your fingers around it as if you were making a loose fist. You are the ring or pebble and God is your hand. Nothing comes to the ring/pebble without His hand allowing it to come. Often times we don't understand why we have to go through hardship. We can find in the epistle of James some answers.

James 1:2 - 4 (HCSB)

"Consider it a great joy, my brothers, whenever you experience various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. But endurance must do its complete work, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing."

How can we consider a trial a "joy?" In order to really understand these verses we have to look deeper than the first few words. We can see that trials test our faith. It would be one thing if God created us all to be robots walking around on this earth just doing the commands He programs in our memory. We wouldn't need faith for that. But, God created us with our own free-will and this allows us to make choices. These choices can be good or bad. God wants us to see and know what we believe. He wants us to call on Him for help and guidance. He wants us to see our need for Him. The more we need God, the more our faith builds up in us! In other words, when we call out to God in our need, and He answers, our faith is built up. Even when we wait for the answer, this builds our faith. There is power in waiting. I like how the Bible in basic English puts it:

Romans 5:3 - 5 (BBC)

"And not only so, but let us have joy in our troubles: in the knowledge that trouble gives us the power of waiting; And waiting gives experience; and experience, hope: And hope does not put to shame; because our hearts are full of the love of God through the Holy Spirit which is given to us."

The "power of waiting" is endurance. It is patience. Whenever we have to wait for something, we have to endure. Be it a little thing like waiting in line at a store, or a big thing like waiting for God to answer our prayers; it requires endurance. We know that "good things come to those that wait." I am not sure where that saying originated from, but it is true when it comes to endurance. We are given a reward for our endurance.

We can see in James 1:2 - 4 that the testing of our faith produces endurance. Endurance and patience are interchangeable. They both mean each other. God wants us to become mature sons and daughters. He doesn't want us to stay young in our thinking and in our reactions. When we were just learning to walk and talk, the first thing out of our mouth was, "MINE!" Baby's are born selfish. They cry when they need changing, they get angry when they don't get fed on time. You never have to teach a baby to be stingy. But you always have to teach them how to share, play nicely with others, and to think of others more than themselves. This is in the natural and it is the same for the spiritual.

When we first become a Christian and ask Christ into our heart as Lord and Savior, we are babies. We have to learn how to walk in the Lord. We have to learn God's will instead of our will. We have to learn endurance.

Endurance means (Strong's #5281): "Constancy, perseverance, continuance, bearing up, patient endurance. It is the capacity to continue to bear up under difficult circumstances, not with a passive complacency, but with a hopeful fortitude that actively resists weariness, and defeat."

Hebrew 10:36 (NKJV)

"For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise."

There is always a reward for enduring. I teach guitar to many students. The biggest complaint is that it is hard work to play the guitar. They have to practice throughout the week to be able to come back to me and have a lesson to progress into the next lesson and eventually to be a good guitarist. Some of my students were expecting to just pick up the guitar and be able to play. This never happens. A great guitarist has many many years of practice behind them and it show with the reward of playing the guitar well. This is a small example of endurance, but I think you get the idea.

What are you going through right now? Do you have what it takes to endure?
We have to remember it is not what we go through, but how we go through it. Often I find myself in a circumstance I hate being in. Ultimately, my character, and what I am really made of, comes to the surface.

God wants you to see your character and respond accordingly. We have to remember who we are in Christ. We are warriors! We are overcomers! We have resources to grab a hold of inside of us to help us stand as we go through the fire. But just think of the silver that is coming out in the middle of this refining fire process in your life! God gives you grace to endure. Endurance is staying even under pressure. Endurance is the ability or power to bear prolonged exertion, pain, or hardship. It is the active, energetic resistance to defeat that allows calm and brave endurance. This will bring spiritual maturity, and we won't bolt again!

I have a bracelet that says, "Endurance" on it and I wear it whenever I need to remind myself to endure and not bolt. Find something you can do to remind yourself to "keep on keeping on" when the going gets hard. We are overcomers and we will endure and become mature, lacking nothing in Christ!

Home Security Doesn't Mean the Family Dog and a Dead Bolt

Home security doesn't mean the family dog and a dead bolt is not good enough security today, in the past that is all that was needed to keep from having a home break-in. According to the statistical data there is a home break-in about every 15 seconds in the United States, making the dead bolt obsolete. Breaking a window will still get this person that wants to steal from a house in and then they just unlock the dead bolt to walk right out the door with the family's possessions. The family pets today are treated like family members and to put a dog against one of the burglars that wants in a residence could be placing them in danger, since this person is ready to deal with the family pet.

Back in the times that locks and dogs worked to keep burglars out, they were only planning on taking certain things, like cash and jewelry, which did not make every house a target. Today it is different, because due to technology every house is a target, since the thief is after things like laptops, cell phones, iPods and other electronics, as well as cash and jewelry. The safest way to protect the house is with a home security system, not only does it help keep burglaries from occurring, but it can help warn the family of other dangers.

Home security systems, the window decals and sign for the yard can help to avoid the person that is looking for a house to break into. Instead of risking being caught they will keep looking for the residence that still depends on the dead bolt for protection from them. Having an alarm system means as soon as the thief tries to get in a window or door the alarm will activate making noise that warns the family and neighbors, plus it warns the monitoring center that will send the police. Either the burglar has to get what they want fast and get out, while this loud alarm is going off in the house or risk being arrested. It is easier for them to just pass this house by and look for a house without protection. This is a way more dependable solution to residential break-ins than the door lock, the family dog and the neighbor that always sees what is going on. This is a way to avoid problems, plus the home security system is able to warn the family if there is smoke, fire or carbon monoxide in the house and signal the monitoring center that will alert the proper authorities. The house and family can never be too safe and the old days of locking the door and knowing there would be no problems is over, criminals are more desperate and everyone has something they want, since technology has made things like laptops that are affordable to everyone, iPods that most teens and children have, digital cameras and other electronics, which are easy for the burglar to steal and easy to sell.

Home Security protection is number one in the eyes of ADT home security and Melissa Carey staying one-step a head of home emergencies. ADT Protection has long been a trusted company by families and businesses for protection against burglaries and other emergencies.

"Bolt" Movie

"Bolt" (quality rating: 7 out of 10)

(Animation feature)

Directors: Byron Howard, Chris Williams

Screenplay: Dan Fogelman, Chris Williams

Voices: John Travolta, Susie Essman

Time: 1 hr., 36 min.

Rating: PG (some mild action and peril)

A holiday reliable for the tots.

"Bolt," playing in 3-D in some theaters, will also keep parents reasonably amused. It's devoid of any special new style. Rather, this is yet another talking animal animation movie with ultimately flawless technique, if not the Pixar Studio productions finesse. Its action is so smooth and real.

And y'know, there's a question at this point in time that bothers me. Like,...um...why?

Why? Well now, recollect for a moment the Looney Tunes classic characters Bugs Bunny, Wile E. Coyote, Yosemite Sam, Elmer Fudd and Daffy Duck. And the visual design behind them. Taken as a whole, there was an intended cartoonishness of the visuals, that is, their disconnect from reality was actually part of the comic effect. The characters and the technique were not supposed to be reality; they were supposed to be essence - lampoons of the way people are. The action, especially the exaggerated mishaps that befell them (like in the roadrunner cartoons), had to do with what would happen to people if the laws of physics did not exist (like when Wile E. Coyote was hammered into the ground or blown up, then was seen in the next scene none the worse for wear). There was no audience requirement, no yearning, for seamless motion, toning, shadow effects and other ironed-out action, like as if what we were seeing on the screen in these cartoons was somehow imperfect.

By contrast, modern animation characters now require for their funniness witty dialogue, dramatic story elements, context and situation to ignite laughs. Those characters of old had irony, wit and urgency built in. They were immediately funny. You were chuckling before they even did anything.

So here's "Bolt," dressed impeccably in modern digital dress.

Gee, you sure don't want to see a poor doggie disillusioned.

But that's the story of Bolt. As a hit TV show star, this white hound lives in a world of staged adventure, peril and scripted villainy - he can demolish a company of soldiers, a fleet of trucks and helicopters as he leaps and soars. All by special effects, of course. As such, he's been notably ill-equipped to descend into the real world with real everyday events. And that's just what happens. Inadvertently, through his owner Penny's inattention which has caused her to be distracted by a sleazy movie agent, he finds himself being shipped off from Hollywood destined for New York City.

The problem here is that he'd always thought that his great feats and special powers that had been set up for him on the TV shows were real, that he actually had those capabilities. Now he's finding that he's been deluded. He's going to need some aid as he seeks out just whom he is.

Help will arrive in the person of a traveling companion, Mittens, who is a burned out, abandoned and emaciated housecat, and, in an RV camp, Rhino, a TV-obsessed hamster who rolls around in his plastic ball. Slowly but surely he'll realize that he doesn't need all those superpowers to be a hero.

First off, Mittens advises him that nothing he thinks is real is really real. He must learn to be, well, - a dog. Like he should enjoy sticking his head out of car windows to catch the breeze. And certainly to mix with other dogs. And it's kinda cute when they get into a pre-fab home in transport in which Mittens can show Bolt what Man's Best Friend is supposed to do around the domestic scene.

Mittens' arguments with Bolt are vigorous but lifeless of screen energy. That's all they are, bicker and banter. And what's all this about Bolt's fear of Styrofoam? Whatever, it ain't funny.

Still, this is all for the kiddies. Let 'em have fun with it. There's a lot to be said for innocence.

Using a Bolt Rig in Fishing

Where educated or nervous fish are giving tentative bites on normal legering tactics, often referred to as "twitch" bites, you have to find a way of accentuating the bites you are getting by encouraging the fish to move off with the bait in a more positive manner. The short hooklink paternoster encourages positive bites when used with a heavy lead and in fact this could be considered to be a type of bolt rig, as indeed can the carp angler's helicopter rig. The name originated because the purpose of the rigs is to make the fish bolt with the baits in their mouths, thereby giving unmistakable indications.

Pure bolt rigs, however, take that general principle one stage further in that they will normally feature the bait mounted on a hair rig with the hook itself being bare, so that the hook point pricking the fish further encourages it to bolt.

The standard bolt rig is very similar to the earliest leger arrangement of a running or semifixed lead on the main line above the hooklink, although the bolt features a much heavier lead than is actually needed for the cast, coupled with a very short hooklink of about 6 in (15 cm). It is fair to say that such rigs are mainly used by carp anglers, although they are becoming more in, vogue with barbel anglers fishing statically for bigger-than-average fish.

One adaptation, which is now the most often used rig by carp anglers, is to swap the normal bomb leger weight tor an in-line, drilled streamlined lead, which is very resistant to snagging. These leads are used with stiff tubing through the centre, through which the main line passes, this tubing being connected by silicon tubing to the hooklink swivel to make the lead semi-fixed.

Most anglers using bolt rigs will do so in combination with braided or dacron hooklinks, and if long casting is involved, a substantial problem exists as the limp hooklink materials will tangle around the main line. To overcome this, these rigs usually incorporate a length of rig tubing longer than the hooklink above the lead. During flight, the heavy lead obviously flies in advance, with the hooklink trailing behind. It is at this stage that the anti-tangle tube prevents the link curling around the main line. If you want to avoid tubing but still use braids, another solution is to use a setting gel that quickly dissolves in water. Some gels stiffen the link for casting, but revert to normal after a few minutes' immersion in the water.

How to Pass the ICC (S1) Bolting Code Examination

Passing any type of exam, easy or complicated, depends a lot upon your preparation. The cliche in sales is most applicable to exam taking where it says: "If you work it hard, it will be easy. If you take it easy, it will be hard." After all, whatever questions the exam has, they are things that you are supposed to have already studied and learned. Needless to say, you have to be amply prepared in order to pass the ICC (S1) Bolting Code Exam.

Though the ICC does not require the examinee to have previous experience in order to take the exam, it is still good to have at least some experience to be able to understand what is discussed in your review materials. You can understand the code requirements better if you have actual experience doing the job. It is your practical support for the theory that is being discussed. What is being impressed here is that you have a better chance of passing the ICC (S1) Bolting Code exam if you have actual experience before taking it.

One good thing about this exam is that it is an open book exam most of the way. Therefore if you are very familiar with the required codes used in the ICC (S1) Bolting Exam then you know where to start looking for them. In this regard you need to get hold and study the correct materials referring to these bolting codes and standards. This will assist you in knowing the correct required codes and literatures to study and review to help you answer the questions during the exam.

In studying for the exam, devote more time to topics that have greater weighted average. For instance, High-Strength Bolting has 44% of the total score, and Steel Framing Observation is weighted at 27%. The rest of the topics, General Requirements and Material Sampling, Testing and Verification combined are only 26% of the total score. In other words, you have to prioritize your study and review time according to the importance of the subject.

On the examination day itself, it will be good if you will be there on the examination site at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start. You must have steady your nerves before the exam starts and rushing to get there will only disrupt your normal blood flow which your brain cells will surely need. Important instructions are given before the exam, such as the tutorial instructions before taking a computer-based exam. You really need these instructions in order that your answers will be right on track.

Another way to increase your chances of passing this exam is to sign-up for the ICC (S1) Bolting Exam course. This teaches and mentors the examinee about this particular examination. You will need this especially if you are new to the industry and/or it's been a long time since you took your last exam. This course is good in refreshing your memory and testing you against mock exams. Taking practice exams will also help you control your nerves, a necessary skill in passing exams. Plus taking this course will have you prepared so that you can have a feel of what's going to happen on exam day.

Best of luck on the exam.

The Nuts And Bolts Of Credit Cards

How do rewards work?

Pre paid debit cards offer many rewards packages. They get added up in the form of points system when the customer uses the card with the money loaded on to it.

For every fixed amount of money spent, there are awards associated which are redeemable for various things such as ring tones, music, calling cards etc. Also when one refers the card to a person and he applies for it by quoting the reference, he gets a referral award.

These are a good option for people with bad credit even though the rewards awarded are not as lucrative.

The advantages of carrying plastic

There are a number of advantages of carrying plastic. One, it gives one spending power as he is not limited to the amount of cash he is carrying at that point of time. Secondly, carrying a plastic card is much more convenient that carrying wads of notes and coins. Thirdly, it is a much safer option considering the high crime rates these days. Also issuers offer many perks. For example, in the case of cards with rewards, one gets points with every purchase amount depending upon the amount spent. These points can later be redeemed for free air tickets, free hotel stays, gasoline etc.

Learn about hijacking

When a person's card is being used by an unauthorized person to buy goods and services, it is termed as hijacking. Since the owner doesn't usually find out this illegitimate use immediately, one faces trouble reasserting control over the card.

One must therefore always keep a track of purchases and their billing accounts so that one can find out about any fraudulent transactions. There are mainly two main forms of card hijacking- one being of the type when the perpetrator assumes the identity of the card holder and he hacks an existing account and instead creates new accounts in his name.

What are open system prepaids?

Open system prepaid cards are also known as pre paid debit cards. There is no value that is physically stored.

Rather, there is a central database where the balance is recorded. The number is a unique identifier for each record in the database. They do not require a checking account.

They are also being referred to as teen cards which parents view as a safe and responsible means for parents to give to their children as spending power. They are also marketed in some countries as a budgeting aid and a convenience tool.

How many should you carry?

People often ask how many should one carry.

The answer to that would be that there should be at least two, one for moderation and one for emergency purposes. This helps one to avoid high interest expenses on purchases made with those cards. The cards with the most favorable interest rates should be selected and should be kept in handy.

It is seen that having too many cards leads to a tendency to overspend. Having many cards is okay for someone who has a good self control. Store specific credit cards often offer discounts and gifts to frequent customers.

Bolt Tightening Technique

Time and technology has changed the way many cars are put together these days, there have been many new introductions for example like plastic clips, adhesive and Velcro, replacing trim nails and screws that normally held panels together in the past. There is still the use of bolts when assembling mechanical components, but even some of these has changed. Today, on major assemblies, torque to yield bolts are used in engines.

These bolts stretch to the yield point when tightened; the bolts are often used when exact clamping loads are needed on parts, they can be used on connecting rods, crankshaft main bearing caps, cylinder heads, front engine dampers and even flywheels. Torque to yield bolts will no doubt be used if the shop manual indicates a bolt needs to be discarded and replaced with a new one.

This can become expensive and a total waste of time if you have to buy new bolts all the time. Too many these old bolts may still look usable but beware looks can deceive, if using old bolts it may cause engine failure an expense nobody wants. Through the process of tightening bolts it pulls them to their elastic limit due to stretching, that's why new ones are needed to give maximum force on today's engines.

It is easy to understand if you tighten a bolt to much then the harder it is for it to become accurate on a clamping load. Friction occurs when tightening bolts these are like a ramp, when turning this has to slide against another thread or ramp in the bolthole. The tighter it goes the harder it becomes to move or push up the threads ramp.

When stationary the term used is stiction as against friction, as the bolt becomes tighter it is the station that will affect a torque reading. People may use lubrication to help threads slide easier but the quality between one lubricant and another can vary. It is far easier to follow manufacturer's guidelines for the best type of lubricant that is needed for the bolt when tightening. This is important because if you use the wrong lubricant it may become too tight or not tight enough.

There are several stages to follow when tightening torque to yield bolts this is done using both a torque and turning angle. The first step is to tighten the bolt to a low torque specification, this is done to ensure even clamping load is in place when parts are assembled. The second stage is to tighten again slightly to the higher torque stage. This will still allow enough friction and stiction on the bolt threads as the torque is tightened very little. The normal procedure after this is too turn each bolt a specified number of degrees normally two to three steps. As an example, the bolt might be turned 90 degrees, and then another 90 degrees until a further 70 degrees has tightened the bolt sufficiently. This will ensure the clamping force that has been exerted by the bolts is both accurate and even.

Special tools are used that can measure the degrees a wrench or bolt has been turned, these are low cost protractors that has a movable pointer, whilst some tools use electronics when measuring a turning angle these can cost several hundred dollars. These two types both work well and though the electronic one is more expensive it actually can make the job go faster.

Some may ask the question why are the torque to yield bolts needed now? When perhaps they weren't needed in the 1960's or 70's. The answer to that question is quite simple in that engine materials are different now. For example, the aluminum cylinder heads expand differently to cast iron blocks. When an engine warms up, all the parts bolted together have to be able to slide on their gaskets or move against each other. Because of the elasticity in the torque to yield bolts allows movement between the parts but still maintains even sealing and clamping loads.

Engine parts today are a lot lighter than decades ago, the heavy cast iron parts was able to take variations in torque without failing. Aluminum alloys and thin wall castings that are used today need accurate torque if this is incorrect then leaks or warping can occur.

Today the design of engines is changing due to the need of even clamping forces, the car manufacturer Ford have prototype engines where bolts which hold the cylinder head on can go all through the engine block threading into the bottom casting which holds the crankshaft. It's hard to imagine that only a few bolts can hold a complete engine together. This would definitely change the way engines where assembled and disassembled in the future.

Bore Sighting Bolt Guns

I have owned and used three types of bore sighters. The spud and bore diameter differences on many firearms create different variations in accuracy in bore sighting. The same is true with the laser sight cartridge due to chamber variations. I retained one with spuds to use when conditions were not conducive to getting in the field. A factory mounted scope will not necessarily be on paper. The method I have used for years is truly bore sighting. You look through the bore and bring the scope into alignment. This method done carefully will put the bullet on target within a few inches.

1) Materials needed are already owned by most shooters. Needed are: good tight sand bags or a gun cleaning cradle, portable maintenance center, or any of these items that can support a rifle allowing no movement.

2) The weapon must have the scope bases, rings, and scope securely mounted as ready for the hunt. I use Lok Tite to restrict the recoil loosening the screws. This should be applied to each screw that must remain tight.

3) Remove the covers on the scope adjustment screws and the bolt. The less to be done when the process starts can eliminate movement problems.

3) Pick a target as far from the bench as practical. My target is an insulator on a transmission pole three miles from the shop. More accuracy is attained the further the target from the bore.

4) Rigidly mount the weapon in the cradle or on the bags so that it will not be easily moved when adjusting the scope adjustment screws. Set it up allowing easy access to the adjustment screws without moving the rifle.

5) Align your bore with the target in the center of the bore. Center of the bore on target can be located by looking from the right side of the bore at the target then from the left side of the bore. The smaller the target the better.

6) Bring the scope to the target by adjusting the adjustment screws. Continue to check bore alignment after each adjustment of the scope. Movement of the rifle nullifies the adjustment of the scope.

7) Fire your first shot at the range 20 yards from the target. Bring the scope reticle to your target. An error in bullet placement at this range is multiplied by five at 100 yards. A 2 inch miss at 20 yards is then 10 inches at a100 yards.

8) From the 100 yard line, shoot the target, locate the bullet hole and bring the scope to this bullet hole in the target. You are then sighted in for 100 yards and ready for the hunt.

How to Make a Woman Orgasm As Quickly As a Lightning Bolt!

There are many benefits to making a woman achieve fast orgasms. And no...it is not so that you can cut the sex short (come on...which guy in their right mind would want to do that?). If you can get her to achieve fast orgasms, you will be able to give her MORE powerful orgasms. Giving her multiple (and strong) orgasms is the sign of a strong lover. Read on.

How to Make a Woman Orgasm As Quickly As a Lightning Bolt!

1. Her Emotions

Her emotional state plays a pivotal role in her achieving an orgasmic state. Without a large "emotional investment" in you, she will not be significantly aroused and it will take her a lot longer to get her first orgasm.

What you need to do is pump loads of emotional intensity into the situation. In other words, build sexual tension. The best ways to do this actually take place BEFORE you get into the bedroom. One of my favourites is by playfully teasing her and getting her slightly angry with me.

I know that if I don't resolve the anger, her frustrations will come out in the bedroom. Why do you think angry sex is so awesome?

2. Her Cravings

Guys, women are just like us. They are humans who have sexual cravings just as we do. Most of the time women don't want to "make love". They simply have sexual drives that need to be fulfilled. So go ahead and fulfill them!

Don't be afraid to get a little rough with her during sex. This dominant masculinity in the bedroom is something that most men lack....and it's something that most women desire the most.

And One Last thing...

If you want to become the man of choice for ANY woman in bed, you MUST learn to stack her orgasms. With just a LITTLE effort you can gain the power to give women multiple MIND BLOWING orgasms...and in my experience, the rewards are worth their weight in orgasmic gold for the both of you!

So Click Here to learn the technique of stacking orgasms and give her ORGASMS so STRONG....she'll scream your name in her sleep!

Graphite Low Friction Coatings - Lubrication For Fasteners, Nuts and Bolts

Graphite low friction coatings for fasteners, nuts and bolts? The answer is yes. And for a number of reasons.

Begin with installation. Did you know most applied torque goes into overcoming friction? That is right. In the absence of lubrication, clamping pressures can be lost, measurably. Not to mention the difficulty in installation. Or the potential damaging torque applied. All of which can initiate issues such as loosening, galling or early wear, or something catastrophic, like bolt shearing.

Is it the fault of the fastener? Not necessarily. So, the next time you consider changing to a more expensive fastener grade, consider lubrication instead. Friction will be lower, as will be torsional stress.

Dry film lubricants like graphite can play a significant role when vibrations are strong, dynamic loads are high. Without, friction will be higher, failure imminent.

Consider microscopic movement under these "oscillating" conditions. More than tangential movement, surfaces can lose contact in each cycle. The result can be a devastating, hammering effect, impact fatigue. Though all these effects can be reduced with carbon graphite.

Similar to molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) and tungsten disulfide (WS2), the structure of carbon graphite is also one of a layered lattice, a hexagonal form with strong covalent bonds. In a normal air atmosphere condition, where metal fasteners are similar material, lubrication can be exceptional. (When nut and bolt are dissimilar metal, an electrical potential exists; consequently, MoS2 or WS2 are better suited. Since graphite can be associated with stimulating galvanic corrosion.)

So, next time you experience failure of your fasteners. First, check for lubrication. And the next time you design with nuts and bolts, do not forget the lubrication. Benefits are many using graphite low friction coatings.

Prevent Your Dog From Bolting - Tips on Solving This Behavior Problem

Every one who has owned a dog has experienced the concern and frustration that comes with him bolting out the door. Dogs love adventure and freedom, but life in the suburbs requires that they take a person with them when they go out to tour the neighborhood. If your dog doesn't understand this, try these suggestions to fix your dog's bolting behavior.

Claim Your Space

The best opportunity for a dog to escape is when the front door is open. Whether you are greeting a guest or bringing in groceries, if you permit your dog to hover, you've got a potential problem.

Instead, claim your space. Establish a line that he is not allowed to cross without permission. Tell him to stay. If he ignores you (or "forgets"), use a verbal correction. If he crosses the line, claim your space by walking directly toward him and gently forcing him to back up. Do this consistently and you will own the space.

Train Him to Stop on Command

Practicing on the walk and by the door, train your dog to stop on command.

Daily Exercise

Take your dog for daily walks. Providing him with chances to explore the neighborhood reduces his need to do so on his own.

Walk through Doorways First

Establish yourself as the pack leader. Make him wait for you whenever you two are at a door. Whether you're going for a walk or just into the backyard, you should go first and then call him.

Use Training Tools

For sight hounds, purchase a Martingale collar. This prevents them from backing out of it on a walk. A Gentle Leader or Halti is a good fit for other dogs that like to escape their collars to chase things they see when walking.

An underground fence will help for dogs that bolt from the yard.

Establish Boundaries

Take your dog around your yard and establish his territory. Any time he tries to leave the yard, provide a verbal correction and then gently force him back. Teach him that he has to stay in his yard.

If He Bolts Anyway

If your dog gets out anyway, track him down and call him to you with a firm but friendly tone. Do not punish him for coming when called. Instead reward him for following your instruction and then work harder on teaching him the house rules.
